Ydolina Rodriguez

Born on January 1, 1948 in Raymondville, TX to Jose and Mary Valdez, she dedicated her life to her family and creating a warm and loving home. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, warm smile and unwavering love of her family.

Ydolina was a devoted mother who cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love and guidance shaped our lives. She will forever remain a pillar of strength for our family and her inspiration and warm and loving presence will be deeply missed. She instilled in us the values of importance of family, kindness, hard work, and faith. She loved listening to music and was once a remarkable dancer. Her love of gardening, cooking and talent of crocheting brought joy to her family and those around her.

Our loving mother is survived by her husband, Alberto Rodriguez, Sr., her children, Anthony Rodriguez (Diana), Diana Saldaña (Samuel), Alberto Rodriguez, Jr. (Bertha), Dora Rodriguez (Heron), brothers, Leon Valdez, Joe Valdez, Raymond Valdez, sisters, Enedina Sanchez, Rosa Medina, Yolanda Guizar, Gloria Valdez, her grandchildren, Juan Hinojosa (Jessica), Kevin Saldaña (Jessica), Jesse Saldaña (Amenda), Gabrielle Rodriguez, Dustin Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez, Samuel Saldaña, Sebryna Rodriguez (Alvaro), Amanda Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, her greatgrandchildren, Raymond Domanski, Rayleen Domanski, Anastacía Saldaña, Sofia Hinojosa, Jessa Saldaña, Ethan Saldaña, Vincent Saldaña, Ruby Hinojosa, Elivia Saldaña, Jade Saldaña, Liliana Hernandez, and Leila

Balboa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Mary Valdez.

Rosary and Funeral services will be at 2:00p m – 3:30 pm on Saturay, May 31, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.
