Yolanda was all about family and celebrating traditions. Her inner beauty, sense of style and graciousness were undeniable by all who knew and loved her. Simply, she was a dash of class, with just the right amount of flamboyance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose A. Flores and Lilia G. Flores; brothers, Xavier and Alejandro.
She is survived by her children, Aissa Bassler and husband, Thomas G. Bassler, Yolanda Medellin and husband, Dr. Jesse E. Medellin, and Raymond S. De Leon II and partner, Damian Gonzales; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, Claire, Nina, Ava, Alexandra, Julia and Caroline. Yolanda was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Porter Loring with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Porter Loring Chapel.
Funeral Mass Thursday, October 13, 2016, 10:00 a.m., Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 223 E. Summit.
Interment in San Fernando Cemetery 2.
