She is preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Thomas G. Bunn (US Army).
In addition to being an Army officer's wife, Yvonne worked for the American State Bank in San Antonio from 1958 until 1977. She was among the first women bank executives in Texas, having been promoted to Assistant Vice President in January 1962. At her retirement, she was Senior Vice President of Lending.
She is survived by her three children, Bunnie Hamilton (John), Tom Bunn (Brenda), Betsy Berry (Jim); nine grandchildren, Stacy Clayton, Steven McGhee, Brian Bunn, Jason Bunn, Mark Burden, Matt Burden, Zach Burleson, DeLisa Selwitz, and Dana Scott and 18 beloved great-grandchildren.
