Zachariah Mark Greene

Zachariah “Zach” Mark Greene passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51. He was born to The Rt. Rev. Alexander “Sandy” Maury Greene and Georgeanna “Gigi” Palmer Rice in Tampa, Florida, and spent his formative years in Destin, Florida with his loving parents and three brothers. He attended St. Andrew’s-Sewanee Boarding School in Tennessee and went on to obtain a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Colorado, Denver. In 2018, he opened Sustainable Security Solutions, a detention and security contracting company, fulfilling his dream of starting his own business. Zach’s love of adventure included rock-climbing, commercial fishing, and snowboarding. He was a passionate surfer, and he revisited his love for skateboarding to share with his two sons. His interests also included basketball, reading, music, and playing guitar, but his greatest joy was spending time with the love of his life, Serina, and his two boys, Cameron and Brandon. Zach was the epitome of a family man who embraced his Armenian in-laws and their culture, developing close relationships with his wife’s relatives, all of whom adored him. He was a genuine and engaged husband, father, brother, and son who demonstrated loving kindness to everyone he met. His generous, caring, and charitable spirit will be deeply missed.

Zach is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Serina Aristakian-Greene; his two sons, Cameron Aris Greene and Brandon Palmer Greene; parents Sandy and Gigi Greene; three brothers, Nathaniel, Samuel, and Benjamin Greene; as well as a large extended family, and countless friends.
