Adrian Raya

May 15, 1983 – August 20, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Adrian Jose Raya, who left this world far too soon on August 20, 2025, at the age of 42 in San Bernardino, California.

Born on May 15, 1983, Adrian grew up in the Inland Empire and graduated from Colton High School. He went on to work as a dedicated yard driver, but his greatest passion was music. As an accomplished DJ, Adrian had a gift for bringing people together — his mixes, like his personality, lit up every room. His sense of humor was unforgettable, his laugh infectious, and his energy impossible to ignore. He made everyone feel like family. Adrian is preceded in death by his beloved son, Dominik, whom he now joins in eternal peace . We take comfort in knowing they are reunited, a father and son together again alongside his beloved grandparents and step son Justin. His absence leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his fiancée, Yesenia, who stood by him with unwavering love; his sons, Daniel and Andre, who were the pride of his life; and his stepchildren, Giovanni and Kathy, whom he loved as his own. He is also mourned by his mother, Ruth Ann (“Cookie”), his stepfather Joe, his brother Jose, his Uncle Chris and Aunt Kathy, and a large circle of cousins, extended family, and friends who were more like brothers and sisters to him.

Adrian was the kind of soul you never forget — had a laugh that could change the mood of the entire room, love, and a beat that kept life moving. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the music we hear, and the spaces he once filled with joy.

A funeral service will be held to honor Adrian’s life on September 19, 2025, 10:00am - 2:00pm at Mount View mortuary, in San Bernardino. Reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember the beautiful life he lived and the deep loss we now carry.

We will miss you forever, Adrian. Your laugh, your light, and your love for music will echo in our hearts always.

A visitation for Adrian will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
