

Alfred was born and raised in Badin, North Carolina. He attended West Badin High School.
He was a brilliant individual and his paintings are one if his legacy. Alfred had a comedic personality and would also cause laughter to his friends and family. He did military service for his country in the Navy and National Guard.
Alred is preceded in death by his father, Macy Lee Hinson, and his mother, Mabel Scarboro Hinson.
Mr. Hinson leaves behind to cherish his memory: His loving spouse of 30 years, Diane Hinson, his children, Cory Coleman, Armand Coleman, Lashawnda Coleman, Darian Coleman; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Doris H. Lilly; his brothers, Macy Lee (Johanna) Hinson, Anthony Ray Hinson; his special friend Ricky Teal of Badin; and a host of other relatives, friends, and acquaintances.
He will be reunited with his parents and sisters, Fannie Mae Hinson and Elizabeth H. Washington.
Mr. Alfred Hinson is loved very much and will be missed dearly by all who knew him; he will always be in the hearts of his family and friends. Although he is gone from this Earth, his Spirit lives within each and every one of us.
