Alice Lemus

She was the daughter of Francisco and Ramona Garcia and sister to Armida Garcia, Sadie Noriega, Aida Garcia, Hector Garcia, Linda Garcia and Efrain Garcia.

In November 1958 she married Gilbert Lemus and prior to his passing in 2008 they were married for 49 years.

Alice was the mother and matriarch to Gilbert Lemus, Richard Lemus, Patricia Oso and Sandra Yglesias, a Nana to eight grandchildren, a Nita and a Mama Licha to many.

Alice was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She was a loving, caring and attentive Nana who adored her grandchildren. She loved attending all their extracurricular activities and was always front row to share in their achievements.

In her spare time Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, watching sports of all kinds (Alice was quite the athlete herself) and hitting the casino with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation with Rosary will be held at Mt. View Cemetery 570 E. Highland Ave San Bernardino, Ca 92404 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on August 25, 2022.

Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 1430 W. 5th St. San Bernardino, Ca 92411 at 10:00 am on August 26, 2022.

Graveside will be held at Mt. View Cemetery 570 E. Highland Ave San Bernardino, Ca 92404 following the Mass on August 26, 2022.
