Andrew Porter Morse, Beloved father and husband, passed away January 23, 2023. He is survived by his love and wife, Charlene Morse, of 44 years. He had 4 children. Daughters; Kelly Pescatore, Terri Brendle, stepson Randy Johnson, and stepdaughter Robin Johnson. Five grandchildren; Eric Chaffin, Gary Chaffin, Adrian Pescatore, Allyson Pescatore, step grandson Mark Johnson, and 4 great grandchildren.
Andrew started working for T.N.O Railroad, Texas in 1956. After moving to California, he worked for the Southern Pacific railroad. He started as a passenger break man and then moved to the freight lines. He witnessed many changes with the railroad over the years and ended his career working for Union Pacific Railroad in 1989.
Andrew had many talents and hobbies that included studying the Bible, wood carving, motorcycles, ventriloquism, music and playing the clarinet and bag pipes. He also loved anything railroad related.
Andrews biggest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible, his wife, and family. He would talk about his glory days racing motorcycles or carving wood. He also shared his talent as a ventriloquist to spread the teachings of the Bible or to entertain others.
Dad, you will be missed by all whose lives you touched and will be held close within in our hearts forever.
A graveside service for Andrew will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
