

Mr. David Walls was born October 17, 1946 in Tchula, MS to Mr. David Ward & Idella Riley. After moving from Mississippi, his family relocated to Alton, IL. he graduated from Alton High School where he achieved academic and football honors. he continued his quest for knowledge by obtaining a Master's degree in Business and Theater, and his law degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. Dave had a penchant for learning and sharing his knowledge which he used to help many of his friends and family. If you needed help, he had an ability to find solutions.
Dave married Peggy Youngblood and welcomed his son David Walls Jr. on May 11, 1967. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. David Walls and their two children, Aerin and Raemond of Lewisville, TX; grand daughter, Elisa Walls of Roeland Park, KS; and great granddaughter, Vanessa Jackson of Roeland Park, KS. David also leaves to cherish his memories three brother/cousins and one sister; Larry Mills of Fontana, CA; Rose Mills of Sunland, CA; Richard & April Mills of Fontana, CA; Chris & Cindy Mills of Dallas, TX; and Alvin & Veverly Anderson of San Bernardino, CA. In addition to Jason & Wumi Mills of Seattle, WA; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Dave was employed at LA Superior Court for 24 years, where he met many friends who he also considered part of his extended family. He enjoyed sports and his favorite was football. He loved to spend his weekends viewing ESPN, Dave also loved to tell stories and kept the family laughing with his tales of family experiences from growing up. In addition, he was an avid reader, and loved reading newspapers, legal manuscripts, writing short stories and enriching himself spiritually with his Bible. He accepted Christ at an early age and fellowshipped with Glendale Christian Fellowship and directed the youth in plays and made a great impact on many of the children. He will be missed forever in our hearts, however, we find joy in our absolute faith that he is no longer constrained to the trials and tribulations of this physical world, but is now rejoicing with the angels and worshiping our Lord. For we are confident that to absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)
