He is survived by his wife of 41 years Laurie Sue, his son Noah, his daughter Victorya and her husband Jon, his brother Darren, his sister in law Rebecca, and his brother in law Scott.
He was a beloved husband, father, and friend, and lived a life of strong faith in Jesus.
He was known for his kindness and compassion, and his deep love for his family.
He found joy in sharing his gifts of teaching and leading worship for more than 40 years.
He enjoyed working at Riverside County Office of Education and valued his colleagues there.
He will be remembered for his love of studying the bible, prayer, history, cats, and his sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed. Though we are sorrowful at this great loss, “We do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us and eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
