Jess R. Martinez, age 100, of San Bernardino, California passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Jess was born in Riverside, California on June 15, 1924 to parents Maria and Manuel Martinez.
Jess was a Corporal in the U.S. Army who served in World War II. It is said that he was a strong, smart, intelligent and firm person. He was always there to lend a helping hand. When asked his secret to a long life, he said "Get married and treat your wife good".
Jess was loved dearly. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his 5 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many family and friends.
