Katherine "Kate" Horn age 96, a resident of Rialto for 45 years, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 20ll, at Lake Forest Nursing Home. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana. She and her husband, Ed owned Kay's Deli in Painesville, Ohio, for 6 years before moving to Rialto, where they owned Bert's Market, Grocery Dept. for 2 years. She worked at Harris' in San Bernardino before retiring from Westervelt's Furniture as a bookkeeper. She was a life long member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and enjoyed playing Bingo, Bunko and trips to the casino with her many friends. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Bob and Mickey Horn; son Eddie Horn; Grandchildren, Scott Horn, Kevin Horn and Kendra Taylor.
