

Lovie Mae (Woods) Bizer was born on August 17, 1931, in Memphis, Tennessee. As the eldest of two children, she was blessed with parents Talton Woods and Mary T Woods. At 11, Lovie, relocating to Kansas City, Kansas. She flourished in Kansas until adulthood, then spread her wings, marrying and moving to Los Angeles, California. Lovie's love and dedication nurtured three children. William Bizer, Aleta (Bizer) James and Felicia Fair.
Lovie worked for the County of Los Angeles with unwavering commitment for over 35 years, retiring as a Medi - Cal Supervisor with the Department of Social Services in 1990.
Her heart was filled with love for the Lord, traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, and Scrabble. Lovie was a Red Hatter and just loved life. Family was always her top priority. Lovie's remarkable life leaves a lasting legacy, cherished by two brothers, one sister, three children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
The family appreciates your expressions of sympathy. In lieu of flowers, the family will be donating to a Caregiver foundation and also Alzheimer’s foundation in memory of Lovie Mae Bizer.
