Here is a bittersweet photo of Dannyboy and his family. It's a celebration of Dannyboy's 60th birthday. It's now shows two angels in this photo... Compa Rick (Lower right side) and right above him, Grandma Lucy. 

Compa Rick would come over to Grandma Lucy's house and join in on many family get togethers. Life doesn't easier but we do get stronger thanks to the Lord.

Grandma Lucy you have been the center of all our lives as far back as I can remember. You fed us food, spoiled us and allowed your home to be our personal resort. You cared for many generations of our family. You showed us love and how to love your family. Your memory will live on in us. We will share your life to future generations and do so not just in words but in deed. Love you Grandma Lucy.

Here is a photo of a Birthday celebration for  Grandma Lucy. She is wearing her favorite color- red. In this photo she is  with her grandchildren. The top two little photos are of  her granddaughter and great- granddaughter playing a duet for her.

Grandma Lucy was very involved in her church. This is a photo of her with her fellow Guadalupanas .

Sandra I knew you and your heart was always full of love and kindness for all. That love and kindness obviously was from the legacy of your mother. I believe she's sitting in heaven with our Lord and Savior. May your heart be at peace, knowing this. "Absent from the body, she is present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8

2020 was a hard year for everyone but it was also an exciting one !  Elijah is very tough and so was Grandma Lucy! He graduated from High School and she was there to celebrate this milestone achievement.

Here we go again! This time was 2 years ago on the same date 7/11/22.  Believe it or not Meemaw was very fast as you can see in the video. Oh and she loved her yellow pan dulce from Lupe’s and nopales from El Super by Tia Rachel’s house.

1 year ago today …7/11/23…it was BRIGHT and HOT just as it was today. Meemaw is wearing her shades 😎. It’s interesting how one of Meemaw’s doctor’s offices was right across from my work office. God works in mysterious ways.

My deepest condolences to the family, my prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Meemaw was very particular with what she liked.

I took Grandma on “Meemaw Adventures”Meemaw is Southern slang for Grandma. Adventures is because we would always be on the go. Meemaw was ALWAYS on the go. 

A brief list of “Meemaw Adventures” include: Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, 99 cent store, Inland Center Mall, Stater Bros, CVS, Amapola, Juan Pollo, Mc Donald’s, Chase bank, Doctor visits, and wherever she felt she needed or wanted to go based upon the weather of course. .

Grandma loved to wear her colorful scarves.
