
Lynne Suzanne Brown, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2025, in Banning, California, surrounded by her loved ones after a prolonged illness. She resided in Calimesa, California. Born in San Bernardino, she remained in the area for most of her life.
As the youngest of three sisters, Lynne was a devoted wife, a proud mother of three, and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired as a grocery manager clerk and later pursued her passion for collecting and selling antiques, a hobby she joyfully shared with her husband, Robert.
Lynne’s love for her family and friends was the cornerstone of her life; they truly were her whole world. She enjoyed baking for holidays and family gatherings and took immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her enduring spirit and love will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
Lynne was predeceased by her son, Donald Smith, and her granddaughter, Alexandria Smith. She is survived by her husband, Robert Brown, who also resides in Calimesa, California; her sisters, Beverly Crawford and Carol Radin; her children, Paul Smith of Redlands, California, and Kelly Haywood of Oroville, California; her grandchildren, Heather, Samantha, Kati, Hailey, Brooke, Paige, Breanna, Corie, Zachary, and Jacob; and her great-grandchildren, Leila, Reece, Grace, Trevor, Addyson, Zoe, Corinne, Alexis, Greyson, and Wyatt.
Memorial and graveside services for Lynne will be held on April 11, 2026, at Mt. View Cemetery and Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, California. A reception to follow will be announced at that time.
