Hi GG, everyday since your passing I've thought about how blessed we all were to have you in our lives for so long. I am so glad and grateful to have been able to see you a little before you left us. You never failed to let me know how beautiful you truly thought I was and I wish I got the chance to let you know how beautiful I thought you were. I love you more than words could ever explain.
I pray that your passing brings us closer and I hope to become a God given woman just like you. This is not a goodbye, but a see you later. Rest beautifully GG.

I’m in my feelings right now granny as we approaching another holiday without you. They say things get easier with time but the holidays is when I think about you the most. Never did I imagine living without my granny. Me listening to a Song for Mama doesn’t help it neither. Granny you the queen of my heart.

My Aunt would always shower me with love and wisdom. Coming from Arkansas to California and learning how to grow as a man.  Mary was my mother away from home. Being around her was always a joy and a privilege.  When I retired from the Navy, she and Brenda made it too San Diego for my ceremony, her presence gave me great joy. Rest easy and I will always love ❤️ and miss you.

I am not ready to say goodbye next week. I keep going back to that moment at Andre's funeral when I was hysterical and you looked up at me with the saddest face, and told me it would be okay. It only got worse when you passed. I miss you both. I'm usually pretty strong but this is a lot to endure.  Continue to watch over us. I love you beyond this life granny. ❤️
