Michael Lozano of Fontana, California died suddenly on August 13th, 2011 in San Bernardino, CA. Mike was born on October 5th, 1952 in Mendota, CA to David and Rebecca Lozano, and was one of eight children. Mike graduated from Clovis High School, in Clovis CA in 1970 where he started his long career as an executive chef. In 1982 he married, Maria Luz and lived in Fontana, CA.
Mike was the owner and chef of Eat’m Up Catering. He was also the executive chef for the Western Region Little League in San Bernardino, CA since 2009. Mike was an active member of the San Bernardino Chamber of Commerce and a committed volunteer to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life and Lead Ambassador for the Cancer Action Network. In 2010, Mike was honored by the San Gabriel Valley, American Cancer Society as Volunteer of the Year.
Mike is survived by his four children and spouses, Mari Jo and Eric Johnson of Hemet, CA, Norma and Omar Cortez of Rialto, CA, and Anthony and Brian Lozano of Fontana, CA . He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, friends, colleagues and loved ones.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 18th at Mt View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA.
Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 19th, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, 12704 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Burial will be held immediately after at Mt View Mortuary & Cemetery at 570 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA. A celebration reception will be held at the Western Region Little League, 6707 Little League Dr, San Bernardino, California 92407. Arrangements under the direction of Mountain View Mortuary, San Bernardino, CA.
