Sarah was born in San Bernardino, CA on January 15, 1953 and was one of seven children to Salvador and Isabel Alcala. Sarah married the love of her life Edward Navarro on February 7, 1970. Together they welcomed 4 children: Sharon, Edward, Ruben and Cathleen. Edward and Sarah were active members of Victory Outreach Church for many years. They shared their faith proudly and discipled many in the community. Sarah is known for her hospitality, often opening their home to the community over the years.
Eddie and Sarah were happily married for 38 years until Eddie passed in 2008. Through their love, they created a large family of 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Sarah was the driving force of her family, she loved her family fiercely and cherished her friends dearly. She enjoyed watching her game shows, camping, and showed her love through cooking for her family and baking during the holidays.
Sarah fought bravely with grace in the care of the Loma Linda University Oncology Team until her very last day. We would like to send our greatest thank you to all of the Loma Linda staff who cared for Sarah tirelessly with so much love.
She was surrounded by family and love until the very end.
