Stella and I have been friends since kindergarten. We shared a lot of our lives.The last time I saw her was Dec6 just before I left for my daughter's place in Minnesota. I just found out that Stella passed away. I will miss her stories. 

I so enjoyed the times I spent with Stella for Bible studies and health classes. Stella was always cheerful and would many times surprise me with thoughtful gifts to brighten my day. 
And when her Mother was alive, she would bring her to the restaurant to attend the wellness classes. Both Stella and her Mother enjoyed coming to the classes and participating. I always looked forward to seeing them and so did Minda, the restaurant owner. Both Stella and her Mother were a joy to be around. I look forward to seeing them again in Heaven.💕🙏💕

I love this beautiful, hilarious amazing woman!! She was one of a kind. Always thoughtful, giving and friendly. She was always leaving gifts for my kids. Every holiday she was so special. She was spunky and silly. Just adorable. She made it so my husband, Ruben had a good childhood. She was a positive extra motherly figure he needed in his life. She continued to show her love to him and his family throughout the years. I’m going to miss her positive upbeat personality. She was a joy to be around. She was one of the good ones in this world. I’m lucky to have known her. 

 My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as we come together to remember all the beautiful things about Stella. Her loving smile and warm hugs always made me  feel welcome and loved. Rest In Peace Stella, you will be dearly missed.  Love, Andrea

Remembering my grandma Stella,

Her love was strong and consistent and it was felt throughout my teens and adulthood. She treated her grandchildren as if they were her own children. 

She was always in search of new adventures, whether it be trying a new restaurant in an unfamiliar area, exploring a new class, etc. I remember her sharing these special moments with her family and friends.

She fiercely embraced life, and I am grateful to have been able to know her and to create these memories. She showed me the world and all of the fun that we can have in it, along with unconditional love. 
She was the most thoughtful and loving person that I have ever met. I will forever cherish her and our times together.

To my sister that I will miss so much.  You brought me happiness with your spunky personality!  You were my second Mom!  When I was a very young girl you took me to culture events and  every Barbara Streisand movie.  She gave me adventurous food places that I share with my friends and my kids.  When my mom passed away you were there for me , you would drop off flowers for me on Mother’s Day and for my birthday.  You had a wonderful spunk in you that you share with the family and your nieces and nephews.  You would remember everyone birthday in the family.   You gave us great memories especially if it was good or bad trips.   We would call them Stella’s adventures!!! We would laugh at the memories you gave us.  She would always remind me when a full moon be on that month, well when the night you pass there was a full moon awaiting her with my parents in Heaven.  You were an Angel on earth now you have join the angels in heaven.   You always love nature….well now you are in your big hot balloon that you are sailing over us.   I love you sister and I miss you so much.  I’m so glad you were my next door neighbor, so I can enjoy seeing you each day.   

My grandma Stella took the role as not just my mother but also my best friend.  She was patient and tolerant with me, always accepted me for who I am without question. She made sure that my voice was not unheard and brought it to attention. Not only that, but she lifted me out of the darkness every time and reminded me that I’m loved even when I was too stubborn to see it. Furthermore, she amazes me with all her accomplishments, capabilities and expansion of knowledge. But it’s no secret the lengths she was willing to take to prove that we have what it takes to be extraordinary in this world. Our memories will live long forever and pass down to the family you once dreamt of me having.

 I love and miss you so dearly my Queen Stella Gonzales 

Stella was one of my first friends -- since kindergarten in 1955 or maybe earlier than that. We grew up on the same street, just 4 houses apart. I had a tonsillectomy when I was 5 years old. Stella came to visit me a couple days afterward. She brought a box that held a darling baby chick! I enjoyed that visit so much! I felt much better after that! We were friends all through Lytle Creek Elementary, Richardson Jr High and Pacific High.  Stella will always be a part of my precious childhood memories.


I lost a childhood friend and her name was Stella. Over the years our friendship grew. We were more family than friends and she will be dearly missed. She had such a kind heart , quirky sense of humor and no matter what she Was always there for you. She was friend I could count on and always in my corner My husband thought highly of Her and always commented she was a very sweet person. She loved her daughter so much. She was so proud of her and her grandkids and of course Javi too. This is so hard to grasp and there is a painful void in my heart. Hopefully all my memories of her will fill that void. She was a great and loving person. We love you

Many times you called me the best son in law ever, even though I was so far from it. I never called you the best mother in law , even though you absolutely were. You never judged or held a grudge against me even though I gave you reasons to do so. You always knew my interests and hobbies. You would always remind me of the fights,air and space technology and events in the night sky. I will forever thank you and admire you for your strength and courage of a single mother of my beloved wife Christina.
You were truly the force that kept this family together. We are so deeply wounded that you are gone I can't even put into words. Many times you told me you would come back and visit me when you died. Every time I look up at the stars or see a hummingbird or a butterfly I will think of you .

Rest In Paradise Aunt Stella, 
My Aunt Stella has been a constant Cornerstone, Beam of Light, Source of Consistent Positivity , Strength, The Epitome of Selflessness and Charity in Our family ,She was Mother Figure to me and Many of my Cousins and Friends  She instilled in me the passion for Sports and Arts, She laid the foundation For Higher Education, She would literally Cheer me and my Family On with Genuine Love and Support, I remember very found moments in my life with her and my family, Concerts, Pow Wows, Vacations to Mexico, train rides to San Clemente, seeing her graduate CSUSB, Sporting Events, Seeing Her at SBHS sports events( I thought it was so cool she was so involved in the sports there and took Pride in Her part in the Athletic Programs). She was very close to everyone and touched Our lives and inspired us more so than some of my many coaches in my life. She was Constantly Giving us gifts and Food , Daily, but more Importantly Her Genuine Love and Care, and Cheers!!! She was tough as nails!!! Resilient! I didn’t realize until recently how much she molded me into an Adapted Physical Education Teacher Today.My first year subbing at SBHS, see cooled my temper as I went looking for a kid who had cussed me out!! Lol. She went with me on a trip to Santa Barbara for a job interview and we really bonded .She not only helped shape my career but also my sobriety! She was always so happy for me ,Always!! I was very fortunate to spend this Last Thanksgiving With Her!! One of Our Last Moments , she was of course in a state of Giving!! She asked me how to spell my Fiancé and Rominas name  for a Christmas Present.We would take walks and talk about life. I had to take a lot of long walks the past few days and talk to God. I’m going to take a walk and talk to Aunt Stella, We Trudge The Road To Happy Destiny!!! I was recently reminded that one of Her favorite groups were Earth, Wind , and Fire, I’ve been listening to Keep your Head to The Sky .

Stella was a down-to-earth woman who was very outgoing and funny. She could always make me laugh. I admired her for her devout Catholic Christian Faith. She was one of the hardest working women I know. I look forward to seeing her again. "Take  a ride in the  sky........"  Stella's favorite Song "Fantasy" by Earth, Wind, and Fire became  one of my favorites.   Love, Louis❤🙏

My Condolences to her daughter Christina, her Grandkids, Brothers, Sisters, In-laws, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and anyone who knew & loved Stella.
She will be missed.  
Stella had a huge impact on my life as a young child, my teen years and life in general. Her family has known me since I was in Preschool.  Stella took her Sister & I on some of the best adventures of my life.  Memories that are forever in my heart, mind, soul & spirit.  She was generous w/her time and protective of her loved ones.   
I recently heard that she left cards on my Sisters car/windshield & I thought what a nice sweet token of love & caring she left to my Sister and probably many others as well.  

My mother, Stella Gonzales was the most giving, kind, funny and bravest woman that I have ever met.  I feel lucky as I have witnessed/lived the most beautiful relationship in this world.  A Mother-Daughter bond that would never be broken even in death. You are forever my strength, my confidant, and my love.
