

Vera Pola (Padilla) Garcia, 63, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on 9-24-12 at her home in Fontana, CA. She was born in San Bernardino and lived in Fontana for 37 years. She was a strong believer in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and attended New Destiny International Christian Ministry.
She is preceded in death by her daddy, Eleno Padilla and is survived by her mother Antonia Padilla of Rialto, CA; sons Chris (Laura) Garcia of Phelan, CA; Cruz Garcia of Fontana, CA; daughters Felicia Garcia of Victorville, CA; Rose Garcia of Fontana, CA and Syreeta (Will) Garcia of Fontana, CA.
Also surviving her are eight grandchildren: Jasmine, Kristianna, Ruben, Nickolas, Andrew, Vincent, William and Noah.
She is also survived by her husband, Ignacio Garcia of Colton, CA; sisters Irene Cisneros, Mary Navarro and Lena Ceja, Gloria Esquer and her brother Larry Padilla.
Vera began her career with Redwood Elementary School Cheerleading and Drill Team in 1978 and remained the director for many years. She accomplished so much, those that knew her, know her life goes on beyond words.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, 5:00 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA. A memorial chapel service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. View Mortuary.
