Vernon John Buckley, of Highland, CA, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. He was 82 years old. Vern was born in Joliet, Illinois in July. He was married to and is survived by Alice Reid Buckley. Vern was a loving and dedicated husband and grandfather to Brian and Jasen Randell and great-grandfather to Brent, Nicole, and Jake. For over 40 years he worked as a custodian for the Banning School District in CA as well as his local church and temple. Vern loved cars and was particularity fond of Corvettes and was a lifetime fan of the California Angels. Vern was much loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed.
