Virginia Soria

Virginia Soria entered into the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday September 6, 2016 in Greenville, SC She was born Virginia Mata on May 25, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her Husband Jess Soria & son Frank Chavez.

A Courageous Woman of great faith, a member of the Catholic Church, who was blessed with a great sense of humor & a larger than life personality, who in her early years was an accomplished beautician. She then physically worked alongside of Jess for many years before taking care of Jess in his struggle with Heart disease. After Jess passed on she moved to South Carolina with her loving daughter Regina (Ginger) & her family who unselfishly cared for her during the remaining years of her life as she later struggled with Parkinson's disease. Virginia loved cooking ,Spanish, & country music, dancing at the Rancho Rodriguez, her Spanish language TV shows, TV dinners, & caring for her family. She always made the Holidays a special joy for all with her Menudo & bright spirit.

She is survived by Daughters Regina Krokel (Gerd), Paula Gardner (Gary), & son Greg Soria (Velma). She had 12 Grandchildren, & 20 Great Grandchildren. "Si Dios Quirere" (God's Willing) was her motto for life & she is with Him now!
