Adelina Urbano Urbano Ligeralde

Adelina U. Ligeralde, “Nanay”, age 86, formerly of Buenlag, Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in San Diego, CA, USA. Nanay was born on November 15, 1929 in Agno, Pangasinan, Philippines. She had one brother and seven sisters.

Nanay migrated to America in 1980 to live with her eldest child Rafael. On March 1987, ten of her children migrated and joined her in San Diego. The rest of her children joined her in 2002. Since then, she has lived a full and happy life with all her children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents Maxima Neuda and Cerilo Urbano and her husband Melanio “Eling” Ligeralde on July 17, 1975, and 5 siblings.

She is survived by her thirteen children: son, Rafael and his wife Cecilia and 3 children, her son, Epiginio and his wife Carmen and 5 children, her son Felipe and his wife Cecila and 2 children, her daughter Julia and her husband Roberto and 5 children, her son Ponciano and his wife Marlu and 3 children, her son Pat and his wife Melan and 4 daughters, her son Vito, her daughter Angeles and her husband Armando and 2 children, her son Tony and his wife Nanette, her daughter Fely and her husband Resty and 3 children, her daughter Mina and her husband Pete and four children, her son Lito and his wife Emmalyn and one child, and her youngest daughter Amy with her boyfriend Ivan and two children, (35 grandchildren) and 20 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on the visitation and viewing on April 5th, 2016 Tuesday and April 6th, 2016 Wednesday from 4pm-8pm at El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121.

Funeral mass is on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 @ 10 am at Good Shepherd Church in Mira Mesa Blvd. Burial and interment follows @ El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego , CA 92121.

The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Sharp Hospice as well as the staff at the ER and Ward 6 West (CCU) of Sharp Hospital.
