It is now 2022 and all these years later, we still think of Alex and his family.  Even though we only spoke to him on the occasions when we visited Nancy and Andy (party gathering), we still think about him.


Found this on my computer on one of our visits to Nancy and Andy's home when Alex was younger.  Thought I would share.

Alex, you are the most inspiring and enigmatic person I’ve ever Known.. the truest friend I’ve ever had in this life. The happiest moments of my youth were always with you. You were my confidant, and I always found solace in your presence. Thank you for your friendship and your love. There are no words that will ever be able to describe the light you brought into this world. I am so grateful I had you and I love you more than anything in this world.  I will love you until the end of time.🌜🌟🌛

I love you so much Alex and I still think of you all the time........ You were such a genius.... one of the smartest people I have ever met. I think of you all the time and whenever I am holding onto the thought of you I feel so safe because of how sweet and pure of a person you were. To know I have someone as magical as you on the other side, watching out for us... helps with the pain of how much I miss you. I want to hug you one last time, but I know it would only make it harder. It's so hard, I miss you so much. I know you know how special you were to me.... You were so special to all of us. There is no one else like you.

Just wanted to let you know I am still thinking of you and I will never stop.

I saw you in my dream a few weeks ago. You knew you were leaving, and so did I... but you came to say goodbye. My mom was there telling me "give him a last hug, say goodbye."

I was just crying, saying "I can't do it, I can't. It will only make it harder."

Part of me wonders why I didn't get to see you recently, but I think it kinda makes sense. It would have been too hard to of seen you and then to have had to let you go.

I miss you so much, your energy was so unique. There's no one I could compare you to. You will always be in my heart.

I'm so incredibly sorry for you loss, my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To the only boy I've loved, I'm heartbroken that you've been taken so soon. Knowing you changed my life, you made me gentler, and you broke down walls I didn't think could be broken. You had a gift to make people feel safe and special and never judged, and I feel blessed to have shared all the great times we had. You've been in my heart since the day I met you, and you'll remain there until I see you again. I love you Alex.

I've met thousands of people through my work and Alex was one of my favorites. He's a special spirit that will carry on in many people's hearts. I am so very grateful to have spent time with him and will forever remember his presence.

Alex was a bright, young soul taken far too early from us. He was one of the smartest and funniest people I knew. He could light up a room with his quick wittedness and his love for other people. I'm lucky to have known him for as long as I did and I'll miss him dearly.
