Dear Silva family,

I'm so sorry for your loss, I could never express that more. I never had the pleasure of meeting Alfredo, however Esperanza spoke frequently of him and the stories would always put a smile on our faces or make us laugh so I felt close to him anyway. I wish I could have known him. My deepest sympathy goes out you and your family and I hope you all find peace knowing he is in a much happier place now and still listing to The Rolling Stones like he did. Rest in peace Mr. Silva.

My uncle was always there for my family and I growing up. He was so giving and thoughtful. I know he will live on in our hearts and in our minds. Just remember all the good times you shared with your father and all the love he gave you throughout the years. He is not gone. He will live in our hearts forever.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Silva, but I have known his daughter Esperanza for many years. She always spoke very lovingly of him. Her stories of him always brought a smile to her face. My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved him.
