Betty Lou Fischer

Betty was born in Los Angeles April 14, 1928 the fourth daughter of Earl and Victoria Cludy. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 11, 2016 after many years of struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. Betty attended high school in Los Angeles and Pacific Grove California and made many life time friends. Betty was employed by the Army Post Exchange at Fort Ord where she met her future husband, Bob Fischer, who was in the Army at the time. They married in Los Angeles in 1955 and had four children Terry (Dec.) Robin, Daniel and Steven (Dec.). In 1962 they moved to San Diego because of Bob's job transfer.

Betty leaves behind her two children, Robin and Daniel, husband Bob, four grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Christopher and Michael, two great grandchildren, Audrey and Ryan and several nieces and nephews. All will miss her great sense of humor, great smile and wit. She was much loved by all she met.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Goodbody Mortuary, 5027 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92115 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. The Funeral mass will be held the next day, Tuesday, September 20 2016 at 10 A.M. in St Therese Catholic church, 6016 Camino Rico, San Diego CA 92120.
