Carlos Lucero Santos

Carlos was born January 15, 1931 in San Diego, California to Jose and Rosa (Lucero) Santos. He served in the U.S. Navy and is a veteran of the Korean War. He married Gloria, wife of 50 years, in 1963. He loved singing, temple work and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He demonstrated his love for the Lord Jesus Christ through his compassionate service to others. He was a great example to his family.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Gloria; his daughters, Gloria McPhee (Paul) and Susana Edwards (Khanh); his son, Robert Santos (Heidi); his grandchildren, Jessica Longhurst (Jason), Brianna Santos, Brittany McPhee, Spencer Edwards, Madison Santos, Benson Edwards, and Hunter Edwards; his sisters, Eunice Ortega (Ramon), Delfina Alisea (Angel), Alicia Gonzales (Louis); his brother, Alfredo Santos; and various nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosa, his son, Carlos Enrique Santos Jr., and his brother Ricardo Santos.
