Carol Ann Butcher (Hubbard), age 83, beloved mother, grandmother, and GiGi passed away on September 24th, 2023. Carol was born in Enterprise, Oregon and moved to San Diego at the age of 3 months. Carol graduated from Hoover High School in 1958 and remained in San Diego, where she raised her 4 girls, until her death.
Carol is survived by her daughters Debra Butcher of San Antonio, TX; Denise Duggan (Joe) of San Antonio, TX; Darlene Balthrop (Gerald Sr.) of San Diego. CA; and Dawn Hobbs (Jessie Jr.) of San Diego, CA. 7 grandchildren, Brittany Litten, Briana Toia (Antonino), Brooke Burgess, Gerald Patrick Balthrop Jr., Jessie Hobbs III (Lolly), Jourdan Hobbs and Josselyn Hobbs. 5 great granddaughters, Madison Toia, Kaylee Burgess, Amirah Burgess, Lauryn Hobbs and Jordyn Hobbs; her nephew Robert Douglas (Robin) and her very best friend of over 65 years Sandy Daniels as well as many other special relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Faye Hubbard, her sister Susan Douglas, and her granddaughter Gabrielle Balthrop.
She was so loved by her family and friends. We will all miss her dearly.
