Chau is survived by his sister Tran Thi Vy, his brother Tran Van Bich and his sister Tran Minh Thanh Cat.

A visitation for Chau will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A funeral service will occur Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113. A witness cremation will occur Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 3953 Imperial Ave, at S 40th St, San Diego, CA 92113.
