Loving daughter of James and Patricia Frantz (nee’ Finnigan). She and her family moved to San Diego, from Hawaii, on military orders in 1982. Where they have remained. In her younger days she was a Special Olympian, and competed predominantly in swimming, the butterfly was her best stroke. She even was a member of the varsity swim team at Patrick Henry High School, and received her letter which she was extremely proud of. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1994. After graduation, she attended the St Madeleine Sophie Center in El Cajon, where she continued to swim, work and take art classes. She had become a very accomplished artist, with works being sold at the center’s gallery in El Cajon. Her art has been showcased in Osaka Japan, New York and even at the WWE home office. She loved Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, and many more classic cartoons and television shows, which were the subjects in many of her artworks. She adored animals and there rarely was a dog she didn’t try to hug. Tina never met a stranger, and would make friends everywhere she went. In fact, in many of her travel adventures she would run into people who knew her from high school and more. She had a heart of gold, the soul of a child, an independent spirit, and she will be missed greatly by all those that loved her. She is survived by her parents, Jim and Patty, her sister Kathy Darnell, brother-in-law Andrew, her nephew James, and her niece Rebecca. Service to be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on ………. At……. for those who would like to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint. Madeleine Sophie Center in El Cajon is requested in TIna’s name.
