Curtis is survived by a loving family: His ex-wife, Cinzia, and two sons, Casey. (Veronica) and Christopher, and his two grandchildren, Kylie and Gavin; his brother Kevin (Sandra), his nieces Kayla & Abby, his nephew Garrett and family. His mother, Faye, and his father, Carl, preceded him in death.
Curtis joined the United States Navy right after high school on August 29, 1979, and retired on June 30, 2001. He was an outstanding sailor and was happiest when he was out to sea serving his Country. He reached the rank of Chief Petty Officer and served during the Gulf War in Operation Desert Storm. After retiring from the US Navy, Curtis worked at power plants in Colton and Hanford, finally securing a position as a Plant operator at the Grand Coulee Dam, his dream job!
Curtis enjoyed playing golf and shooting with his friends when not at work. He was passionate about collecting model cars, playing the guitar, rooting for his 49ers, NASCAR, and Indy racing. His favorite channel was The History channel. He was a fountain of information; he could talk your ear off about anything and everything. He loved God and his Country and was a Republican at heart.
