Daniel Patrick Coyle

June 11, 1949-January 9, 2025

Dan was born in Cincinnati, OH to Harvey and Rita (McDaniel) Coyle on June 11, 1949. He graduated from

Withrow High School in 1968. Then he went into the Naval Reserves as a machinist mate. After serving in the Navy, he graduated from Cincinnati State Technical College.

After a horrible winter in Cincinnati, he decided to move to San Diego, CA. In the Navy, Dan was stationed in Rhode Island. One year, in January, the Navy flew him out to San Diego. He fell in love with San Diego as soon as he stepped off the plane......it was nice and warm!

He earned his BS degree from National University. He married Jane Goode in 1979. In 1982 they had their son, Justin S. Coyle. He worked at General Dynamics for 28 years as an Industrial Electrician. Then he retired from Hi-Tech Welding Services.

In 2001, he married Linda Jackson. They lived in Santee, CA. Dan is survived by his wife, Linda, his son, Justin, his brother Timothy, sister-in-law, Adonica, sister-in-law, Gerry Jackson, nephew Jason Coyle and his wife Dawn, niece Caitlin Coyle, and his grandniece, Irelynn Coyle. He was a wonderful man. Loved by many.
