Darale Lamond Hunt

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darale Lamond Hunt, who departed this life on February 20, 2025. Born on November 23, 1974, Darale was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Darale was the cherished child of the late Richard Hunt, who preceded him in death and whose memory continued to guide and inspire him throughout his life. Darale found strength and solace in the legacy left by his father, embodying his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love.

Darale will be remembered for his love for football, particularly, for his love of the Pittsburgh Steelers. During his life, Darale was a dedicated IT Network Analyst for over 25 years in Anaheim, CA, and most recently in San Diego, CA, where he built a circle of friends. His impact on the lives of those around him is immeasurable, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Darale is survived by his loving mother Patricia Thomas, devoted sister, Carmalon Batiste, his niece, Kennadee Beal and a wide circle of relatives and friends who treasured his presence in their lives.

A service to celebrate Darale's life will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pacific Beach-La Jolla Chapel, 4710 Cass Street, San Diego, CA 92109. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor his memory, share stories, and find comfort in one another's company.
