She is lovingly survived by her husband of 39 years, John; her son, Cody; her daughter, Jordan; her parents, Jacquelyn Keyser and Darrel Morehouse, and her brothers, Dan and Darren Morehouse. She will also be deeply missed by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews — all of whom will remember her for her kind words, thoughtful gifts, and generous spirit.
Darcy left this world far too soon after a courageous over two-year battle with cancer, meeting every challenge with grace, smiles, and unwavering strength.
There are souls whose light is so bright, it lingers long after they’ve left the room.
Darcy’s light will shine forever.
Her laughter filled every space it touched — warm, musical, and impossible not to join in. She had a smile that could lift even the heaviest heart, a style that was effortless and radiant, and a kindness that knew no limits.
An artist in every sense, Darcy painted her life with love — in the home she built, the beauty she created, and the people and pets she cherished. She gave endlessly, loved unconditionally, and left everyone she met a little more cared for than before.
Her heart belonged to her family, her beloved dogs, and the island of Maui, where her spirit will always feel at home.
Forever loved by her husband, her children, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
“She made the world softer, brighter, and infinitely more beautiful.”
