With full hearts and deep gratitude for her beautiful life, we share that our beloved Dorothy June Davidson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2025, at the age of 98. Born on June 23, 1927 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Dorothy’s nearly century-long journey was one marked by love, faith, and the quiet, steady strength that came from a life lived with purpose and grace.
Dorothy was the heart of her family — a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a way of making each person feel unconditionally loved. Whether through her soft-spoken words, her tender prayers, or the warmth of her hug, she reminded us all what it meant to be truly cared for.
A woman of unwavering faith, Dorothy’s love for God was woven into every part of her life.
She found joy in life’s simplest gifts — the laughter of family gathered around her table, Padres wins, the beauty of a blooming rose and the sweetness of a well-told story. Her home was always filled with laughter, football games in the background, her famous meatloaf, deviled eggs, bloody Mary’s & BLT sandwiches.
Though our hearts ache with her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and embraced in the everlasting love of her Savior.
Her light will never fade — it lives on in every act of kindness, every prayer whispered, and every moment of love we share in her memory.
Dorothy is survived by her 3 sons, her
9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
