passed away December 10 at Kaiser Hospital, with her niece at her bedside.
She was born August 28th, 1924 to Wilfred Francis DuCharme (Eastman, Wi) and Alice Mary LaSalle (Hawkesbury Ontario Canada). She is survived by her brother Robert Stephen (Nancy) DuCharme (Aurora, Il) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband(s) Levi George Lewis (Yuma, Az) and Steve Romanenghi (San Diego, Ca), and her siblings, Sister Andre DuCharme (Manitowoc, Wisconsin) and Mary (Knickerbocker) Christophersen (Aberdeen, South Dakota).
Dorothy worked at Kaiser Hospital for over 30 years. She loved her retirement years with her husband Levi. Spending the winters relaxing in Yuma and the summer salmon fishing in Washington state. Dorothy loved to play cards games on her computer into the " wee hours of the night". Dorothy enjoyed and loved her family, her dry sense of humor will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held in the Chicago area at a later date.
