Grandma, At this time last year you and I were watching Dancing With The Stars together.  I will always cherish those evenings, but most importantly, the 40-something years I was blessed to be close to you.  It was truly an honor to be your granddaughter.  Your loving heart shined with every step, your beautiful face simply unforgettable, your words inspired and provided strength, and your smile (ah, that smile!) always warmed my heart.  You were simply full of God's grace.  Every day I think about you and the times we shared ... shopping, dining, driving around San Diego, my wedding in Mexico City (I let grandma decide where I should marry!), our trip to Spain, (did I mention shopping?).  Grandma, I look forward to the day when I reach for God's hand and I see you there waiting to greet me.  I miss and love you so much, Monica

Mama I have been missing you since we said good bye.  Oh how my heart hurts and I miss you oh so much.  I think of you every day and I hope you hear my heart speaking to you.  I feel so lucky and blessed to have had such a most beautiful, sweet Mother as you.  God made you so special that I'm sure you are his main Angel.  I know that's what you were to me and still are my beautiful Angel..I always said you are a Saint.  I love you so much, I hear and feel you all around me every day. I know you are happy to be with my brother Pepe and my Dad, so say hello to them, give them my love too and the rest of the family.  Watch over us. Eloise and Terry.  I'm so sorry I was not able to attend services.  My prayers continued daily for my Tia and your loss.  The amazing photo album I reviewed many times since it became available.  You need to know that it brought me beyond words enriched peace,comfort and awe for years to come.

Tia Micky.  You were one of our most respected and revered Tia of the Colmenero family: Kindhearted, benevolent and with a smile and cheerfulness that would light up wherever you might have been at any given moment.  In the past we'd have many moments of enlightenment you provided me regarding my parents Mauro and Maria Colmenero from Jerez zacatecas to El Paso to San Diego.  Moments I will always cherish.  You and your's were always in my prayers.  God Bless you, for you will be missed by the multitude of family and friends left behind
