Frances was born in Buffalo, NY, on October 14, 1918, the middle of three sisters. John and Frances were married in 1937, and had 5 children. They lived in Cheektowaga, NY, prior to moving to San Diego in 1960.
It was quite a transition for Frances but, like everything else in her life, she persevered, and made a home for her family. She found new friends in her neighborhood and at church. She and John went to 7:30 mass on Sunday and you could always find them in the first row of the second section, on the right side. John passed away in 1997, and she came to the same pew every Sunday after that.
She taught, not by lecturing, but by example, the virtues of honesty, perseverance, humility, fairness, love of family and her church. She will be missed, but will always be in our hearts.
