Frank J. Vigliaturo was born October 27, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho. Frank passed peacefully at home on September 7, 2013. Frank served in the United States Army during World War 11 before beginning a 44 year career as a aircraft assembler for Convair. Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Teresa in 1993. He is survived by his daughter Mary Frances Vigliaturo and his son Frankie Vigliaturo both of San Diego. He is also survived by his sisters Edith and Patty, many nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family. A Viewing will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013, at Merkley Mitchell Mortuary, 3655 Fifth Ave. from 5 - 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 3585 30th St., San Diego. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
