He was a graduate of Santana High School in Santee, California and attended Chico State University before his move to Prescott.
For many years, Garrett was a pizza chef. He loved to cook, but his real passion was computer gaming. His favorite hobby was building computer gaming systems and competing on the world stage as Svornair. He loved the San Diego Chargers football team and driving dune buggies with his Dad in the California desert. He was a proud member of the Citizen Pottawatomie Nation of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Garrett was a devoted son and brother who loved his family, including his dog Chief. Garrett is survived by his father and mother, Paul and Nita Freer, and sister Stephanie M. (Freer) Florian of Prescott as well as a plethora of extended family throughout California, Arizona and Upstate New York. A circle of family and friends are left with heavy hearts. Until we meet again…
Garrett was laid to rest next to his grandfather, Walter G. “Joe” Clardy, at El Camino Memorial Cemetery in San Diego, California. A celebration of life was held on his birthday, July 30, 2022, at the home of his parents in Prescott, Arizona.
