Harold Alfred Perry

Harold “Bud” Alfred Perry was born May 8th, 1947 in San Diego CA and was the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in Spring Valley where he graduated from Mt. Miguel H.S.. Not long after H.S. Bud was drafted into the Vietnam War and completed a tour overseas. It was not long after returning home, Bud met the love of his life Linda. Bud married Linda and raised two amazing boys into men. He coached both sons in Little League and took the family on memorable trips to Montana. Bud also completed an apprenticeship to become an Operating Engineer where he worked his way up the ladder to a superintendent of a large grading company before going into business himself with a partner building Perry & Shaw into a first-class company.

In retirement Bud focused on his family, being there for all the important milestones, making sure we spent quality time together as a family, and traveling the world with the love of his life Linda, reaching all 7 continents. Bud was an avid golfer and golf watcher. He loved the Aztec basketball team and maintained season tickets. Bud passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 and is at rest at Miramar National Cemetery. We will miss a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and grandfather.
