Hugh Samuel Souder, Lt. Col. USAF, was born September 14, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Fredonia and Franklin Souder. After graduating from high school in Little Rock, Hugh joined the Air Force, graduated from Officers' Training School, and served honorably until his retirement in January 1981.
Hugh is survived by Augusta, his wife of 66 years, his son Jonathan Souder, daughter Cynthia Frye, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. His oldest son, Hugh Samuel II, preceded him in death. His surviving sisters are Mary Marshall of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Edith Johnson of Hattiesville, Arkansas.
Hugh is Deeply Loved, Sincerely Missed, and his family and friends eagerly await his Resurrection.
