John Nash, age 93 ½, started his New Year by flying with the angels. He joined all the family and friends that have gone on before him including the loves of his life, Janet and Dorothy, daughter Teresa Clark and son John Nash Jr. He was born June 6, 1928 in Blytheville, Arkansas and he peacefully passed away at his home in San Diego on New Years Day 2022. He is survived by his children Ed, and wife Janell, Sara and husband Robert Dozier, Naomi Sanders, and son in law Steve Clark. Grandchildren Melissa Sanches, Cheryl Clark, Adam Nash, Nic Nash, Stephanie Nash, Kalvin Sanders, Angelo Sanders, his 2 Great Grandchildren Emma and Donald Sanches and a host of nieces and Nephews. He served in the Navy during Korean War, picked grapes and dates in Indio and became a carpenter helping to build homes and businesses in Las Vegas, Riverside and San Diego counties until retiring in 1990. He was greatly loved by everyone who ever knew him and lived for family gatherings. He spent the last years of his life surrounded by family and took up a hobby of painting. Visitation will be held at El Camino Memorial Park on January 10, 2022 @ 2 pm followed by a graveside Celebration @3pm.
