

He leaves his daughter, Tracie Caccavale; his step daughter, Gloria Robertson; his granddaughters, Cierra Caccavale-Finch and Jennifer Lindenbaum; has brother, Carmen Caccavale; his sister-in- law, Kathryn Caccavale; his niece Gia Caccavale; his nephew; Raymond Caccavale, his niece, Christine Caccavale; nephew, Scott Caccavale; and many close friends.
Born in Brooklyn NY and raised in Phoenix Arizona, the son of Carmine and Marie Caccavale. He moved to Washington State in his adulthood in pursuit of his business and settled in San Diego, CA in his later years.
He graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1958. He worked for Sperry Federal Credit Union in management and engineering, General Electric as a lead designer and in computers for Omnitec Data during his lifetime. In addition, he attended Pacific Western University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management. He met his wife of 33 years prior to her passing, Gayle Bandy, while working at Sperry Credit Union and they were married in 1969. Their first and only child, Tracie Caccavale was born in 1973. His wife passed away in 2002 from cancer.
He joined the Air National Guard Reserve as an Inventory Management Specialist from 1963-1969.
Most of his life was spent as a business executive and he was employed for many years by Railbird Irrigation. He then had the opportunity to open his own irrigation business, Evergreen Pacific Supply Company with a business partner. This company was the reason he moved his family from Phoenix, Arizona to Washington State. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made during his time in business. Over the years, his business expertise and reputation led him to be a very dynamic leader of his company.
Mr. Caccavale had a passion for sports and was on his high school football team, was a small plane pilot, loved golf, sports, hunting and his family. In his later years, he volunteered his time and United Way Agency and then was an usher at his church, Mission San Diego de Alcala.
His humor, loving ways and light hearted personality will be missed by many. The wake service for Mr. Caccavale will take place on Sunday July 31st, 2016 from 4-8 at Dignity Memorial Chapel Service at 684 South Mollison Avenue El Cajon, Ca 92020 and the Catholic services will be held on Monday August 1st, 9:30 am-10:30 am with a reception to be held following the service from 10:30-11:30 am at Mission San Diego de Alcala 10818 San Diego Mission Rd, San Diego, CA 92108. .
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Cancer Society.
