Sally and I are so sad to hear about Julian.  I will never forget his wonderfully happy and optimistic outlook on life.  He was a dear friend and I will miss him tremendously.  I will never forget the time he was with me when I bought my first Harley in Austin, TX.  We had a great first ride together and now I am guessing he is riding around in heaven.  Who knows...he may be teaching God right now how to ride a Harley.  You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Nisara, i was so shocked to hear about Julian's passing, i still cant hardly believe it. I wish you and your family the best in these tough times. Julian was a great friend and even though i didnt know him long, he made a huge impact in my life. He helped me through some rough times and always knew i could do better even when i didnt think so. I am so sorry for your loss, and those of us who were Julian's Navy family are grieving.  He was an important member of our team and his daily contributions to the workplace mafde a difference.  More importantly, he was a good man who cared deeply for his family, friends and co-workers. I am so deeply saddened by this unexpected and way too early loss of my cousin.  He will forever be in our hearts, and will be greatly missed.  I will always remember the good times and good talks we had....

4/58th MP CO "OUTLAWS";2/27th INF "WOLFHOUNDS"- Julian traveled across the world with us. My first squad leader, a great, funny and and ever-so-entertaining friend. We were together in Hawaii, Haiti, Sinai, Egypt, and Israel. We later met up in South Carolina and traveled to Fort Campbell, Kentucky to see old friends. I did my first 12 mile Air Assault Road March with him hollering and motivating me the whole way. We walked the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem and up Mt Sinai to St Catherine's Monastery and the Burning Bush. We patrolled the streets of Port Au Prince, told so many jokes, and drank more than a couple beers. Nisara, I remember him telling me about you in Hawaii after the first time he met you! He was smitten! Words cannot express the shock and sadness of his sudden passing. We could spend hours recounting great stories of life with Julian. Via con Dios, SGT Granado. You will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear of Julian's passing.  Know that we will keep you and your family in our prayers and ask for understanding and peace for you as you begin to work through all of this. I will never forget all of the assistance Julian gave to us upon arriving in Italy....he had that place down pat. If there was ever a question...he was the one to ask. I was deeply saddened to hear of Julian James' sudden passing. I have wonderful childhood memories of cousin Julian from the get-togethers at our grandparents' home. I also remember that I walked with Julian at Julie's wedding. A few years ago, I saw him again at Grandma Mary's funeral. He was so friendly, humorous, and loving. My heart goes out to Nisara, uncle Julian, Julie, Bonnie, and his two precious children. I send my love, strength, and prayers to you.

   Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.  Julian provided so many good times to me and my family, especially during the bowling season.  His patience with and interest in Aleeza and Ryan will never be forgotten. Nisara, what a surprise to hear of Julian's passing when you came to the office, and at a 'young' age (anyone below age 50 is young :-)].
