

Kathleen Jensen, a woman of fierce independence and an indomitable spirit, gracefully departed this world for heaven on July 16, 2024. Born on August 6, 1938, Kathleen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
As a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Kathleen is survived by her children Debbie Rheinfurth, Natalie and Joe Melham, Victoria and Mark Lambrecht, Pamela and Patrick Donnelly, Michael and Cari Kruggel,Tammy and Jason Keen, Charlie and Amy Jensen, and Kimberly and Rodrigo Magdauyo; her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Alexandra, Steven, Harmonie, Craig Jr., Gabriela, Kathleen, Patrick, Michaela, Abagail, Madeline, Miles, Zaneta, Tabitha, and Rodrigo Jr.; and her adored great-grandchildren Owen, Ryker, Chloe, Amara, Journey, and McKenzie. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Gil Castaneda. She was predeceased by her loving husband Rick Reed, her brother Raymond Lawson Jr., and her parents Raymond and Muriel Lawson.
Throughout her life, Kathleen pursued various occupations; as a nurse, stay-at-home mom, daycare cook, daycare teacher, and bookkeeper. She approached each role with a remarkable blend of intelligence, humor, and dedication. Kathleen found immense joy in her hobbies, from being a proud mom supporting her kids extracurricular activities like 4H and softball, to crocheting, sewing, reading, cruising, and traveling.
Kathleen was known for her strong-willed nature, preferring to do things her way and in her time. Her smart, funny, and generous personality made her a joy to be around, and she was always a good listener. She adored her grandchildren and took immense pride in their accomplishments.
A celebration of Kathleen Jensen's life will be held at a small graveside service on August 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. at El Camino Mortuary. Please join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories of the remarkable woman she was.
Though she may be physically gone, Kathleen's love and spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace with Jesus.
