I apologize for the delay, but I have been thinking about all of you since I heard of Bobbi's passing.  I did talk to Billy to tell him we were thinking of everyone.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the privilege of knowing Bobbi that well, but it is obvious through her children and grandchildren, who are beautiful people in many ways, that she was a wonderful and special person. There is a quote, “where there are shadows, there must be light,” and I believe because of Bobbi's influence on your lives, the light will be recognized. You are all in our thoughts and prayers here in the Mile High area.

There are 9 postings on the I Worked at IVAC page, all from co-workers who will never forget Bobbie.

Bobbi I will miss our long talks on the phone, You kept me informed about everything. You talked about your children and grandchildren with such love and pride. I will also miss our Christmas eve get togethers you always made them so special. I can't believe you are gone. To Bill, Billy, Tania and their families remember how much she loved all of you and how proud she was .She is a guardian angel looking down on all of us now. Love Aunt Pat

Gentle hugs of sympathy to Bobbi's family. What a special person she was. The slideshow of pictures was wonderful, especially those that had her impish grin. She showed that grin at IVAC many times.

Bobbi will be dearly missed. She was an incredible human being, full of life and joy. My family and I had the great honor and privilege to call her our friend. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Serrano Family.

Aunt Bobbi,
When I came to visit you in the hospital I didn't realize how bad things were but I admired how strong you were telling us all you were ready to go because of all the pain. I will never forget the question you asked me.
What do you want me to tell Nani? I said to tell her that I'm taking care of my dad an my family and that if anyone needs anything from her family I would always be there for them. I will never forget how tough you were until the end.

Aunt Bobbi,
Even in the darkest hour you saw the light. The courage you showed your family was inspiring and I hope to be as strong and confident as you were. Thank you for being a mother figure and sister to my dad. Heaven has another angel protecting us all. Until we meet again. <3

After all these years, Aunt Bobbi, I never knew your name was Kathleen.  I would have asked you why you didn't use your name, Kathleen.  It's a beautiful name. But I'm sure you had your reasons. I'll just have to wait to ask you when I see you in Heaven.  Everyone has a purpose in this life and yours was one of love, strength, humor, and generosity.  I pray your family will have many blessed visits from your spirit as I do with my mom. To the Serranos, we offer our prayers, continued love and support especially through this difficult journey of loss. May God be with all of you.

Bobbi, my very dear friend of 53 years passed away on 14 September 2012. We shared many â€œsecretsâ€.  Also the same initials, KRM & married KRMS We did not talk or see  other all the time but we always knew each other was always there.. 
   She & her husband /best friend Bill  were devoted to each other.
When dining at home or out they sat next to  each other. I find that as a testimony of their love for each other. They raised three wonderful children.
    She was an inspiration in the way she lived her life as an example to her children. She instilled a love of family, sound morals & a kindness towards  others to her children.
    Bobbi continued to go forward with dignity & grace when faced with health challenges. After heart surgery she watched her grandchildren grow, participate in sports & do well in school . She went to as many of their  activities as possible. Bobbi loved her nine grandchildren as the unique individuals they were. She made each one feel special. She was so happy to see her ninth grandchild had hazel eyes like she & Bill did
      Close to death with kidney failure she rallied & went to dialysis. Yes, she had bad days & complained but she would pull herself up & go forward. Once again she resumed her life as normally as possible. 
She & Bill were  over the moon for classic cars. She & Bill continued going to car shows .
       I feel blessed & fortunate to have known her & to be included in her family. I will miss her but I have many good  memories of times we spent together. She will always be with me. Bobbi, save a place for me.

To the Medina and Serrano Families,
May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories that we all share about Bobbi.  
She had the most beautiful smile and contagious laugh.  People were naturally drawn to her. I'll always remember the fun I had at Kearny with Bobbi and her brothers Billy and Don. 
It's been a rough year for Bobbi and now she can be at peace and no more pain. May God bless you all and always keep her memory close.

I don't know if I ever met Bobbi personally, but I feel her spirit live on in her beautiful children and grandchildren.  Their loving kindness and generous spirit make the world a better place.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our family is saddend to learn of Bobbi's passing,our love and prayers are with you Bill and all the family.  We had some good times as next door neighbors and raising our young families.  Bobbi always had the latest scoops on things and was always a great mom and friend..we will miss her, please know our love and prayers are with you all.

Bobbi, I will never, ever forget you. There were so many years, at least 15, when we saw each other almost every day, all the memories...from Tecolote days, Longfellow, Mission Bay, together with our sons, Eric & Danny, and our families, and friends...some baseball traveling, Hawaii, thru happy times, like graduations & weddings, and sad times, the loss of family.  What I always knew, and respected, was the love and devotion that you had for your family, and your friends. Everything you did and strived for was for them. And what Harry said is right, you and Bill were a very loving couple. The two of you were always "one". Together, you have a wonderful family. These are the times, and the way you were, that I will always remember. To Bill and family, Pete, Danny & I send our love, prayers and sincerest condolences. Rest in Peace, Bobbi.

Bobbi was my godmother, and I have never known a life without her, until now.
