Katie Marie Perkins

Katie Perkins went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2012. Born in Kingston, Arkansas on November 16, 1916. She was the eleventh child of Joe & Minnie Wright Bradshaw. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.

On August 23, 1937 she was united in marriage to Bill Perkins in Boise, ID who preceded her in death in 1996 after 59 years together. Also preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers; Wilson, Dewey, Troy, Birl, Mark, Paul, Eddie & Jack, three sisters; Hattie, Susan and Infant.

She is survived by her three children; daughter, Deanna, Son, Tony & wife, Barbara of Spring Valley and Son, Lowell & wife Joanne Grim of Nampa, ID. As well as six grandchildren; Denise, Donna (Whitman), and Danielle Perkins, Larry, Linda (Roberts) & Loren Grim. Along with a handful of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Lemon Grove on Monday March 5 at 1pm. Viewing will be Sunday March 4, from 4-8pm at Greenwood Mortuary. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Diabetes Association.
