Linda loved being a mom and always made every birthday, holiday, and event very special creating many wonderful memories.

Around that time, Linda met John Chaffetz and moved to Utah where he lived. She continued her education at the University of Utah. After moving back to San Diego, Linda assumed the role of Grandma “Gigi” to her 4 grandchildren, Charli, Olive, Ava and Patrick “PJ”. She also cherished Chris Montoya, her longtime partner and best friend. Linda loved to travel. She had the opportunity to visit
Mexico, Thailand, Europe, and Hawaii. One of her favorite travel partners was her niece Vivian Mirabal with whom Linda shared a very loving relationship. Linda loved being with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Some of her happiest moments involved supporting and cheering on her children and grandchildren. Linda was thoughtful, caring, full of love, always smiling, funny, compassionate, and a beautiful soul on the inside and out. Linda is well-loved by her family including
her nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
