Lorraine Bouchard died peacefully on January 9th, 2017. She was 88 years old. Lorraine was born to Edgar and Irene (Comptois) Pinette, in Haverhill, MA on December 16th, 1928. She had a very happy childhood in Haverhill, with her brother, Ronald Pinette, and her many life-long friends. As a young girl, Lorraine began what would become one of the great joys of her life, dancing. She loved to dance, accompanied by her mother's beautiful piano music, with other little girls; ballet and tap, a love she continued to enjoy well into her middle years. Lorraine married William (Bill) Bouchard on August 25th, 1951. Bill was in the Navy, and they moved with their family to San Diego in 1958. San Diego became her forever home. Lorraine is survived by Bill, her husband of 65 years, and her 5 daughters and their husbands: Joyce and Mike Ahlee; Diane and Tom Gronholt; Irene and Bryce Barlow; Denise and Arthur Lorton and Janice and Todd Condon. Lorraine loved, and was loved by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Lorraine will also be missed by her brother's and sister-in-law's children: Cathy McDonagh; Patricia Alexander; John Pinette; Dan Pinette, and their famlies. Lorraine's entire life was spent caring for others. She loved people. Her laugh and sense of humor were contagious. "Everyone in heaven was just greeted with the warmest and tightest hug they have ever had." She was the glue that created our family bond, and she will be celebrated forever, but greatly missed. She added happiness and gentle love to this world in such a tender way. She exemplified unconditional love, faith in God, joy, laughter and selflessness. Lorraine was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed. The Family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
